Weekly Update - 23 Weeks

Finally! (Last week's) 23 week update!

Last week was a rough week, and it definitely shows in this photo...tired and hurting...

How far along?  23 weeks

Total weight gain/loss?  4 lbs.

Maternity clothes? Yep. But still managing to utilize my existing wardrobe, which I didn't think would be possible!

Stretch marks? Still none from the bean. But I know additions to my already impressive collection are soon to come. I'm dousing myself in coconut oil daily.

Sleep? Extremely uncomfortable thanks to this back/hip/sciatic pain I've had for over a week now.

Best moment last week? Moments I wasn't in pain, which were basically only while sitting completely still...on a heating pad.

Movement?  Feeling her more frequently now! And I can now watch my belly dance on the outside when she kicks.

Food cravings? Still chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, which I had (finally) on Saturday and it was delicious! Yesterday I had cravings of Cinnabon, Grilled Cheese and Cheeseburgers within ten minutes of each other...I had none :(

Symptoms? This back issue is overpowering everything else right now, but slowly starting to feel better after a couple of trips to the chiro (with accompanying medical bills...OUCH)

Gender?  Girly girl

Labor signs? Nope.

Belly button in/out? In, but pushing out more and more every day!
What I miss: Being able to bend over like a normal person without crying out in pain.

What I am looking forward to: A 3 day weekend!

Milestones: The bean is the size of a grapefruit now and weighs just over a pound. I've been informed that her eyes are now able to open and close, will their final color be blue?! Guess we won't know that for a long time!

  1. Your chalkboard looks so clean! How do you clean it each week?

Did you use spray paint or roll-on paint for the chalkboard (if either?)

It's such a chore to clean mine each week and I actually use Diet Cooke to clean it (read it on a blog), which works, but I've had to repaint it once already as well.

  2. still with the pain? i'm so sorry to hear that :(

at least you look good (is that even a consolation? by the end it might be!) and your bump is so lovely

  3. you and your bump look great even having to deal with all that pain! :)

  4. awe I love seeing baby bumps :) You look fantastic!
